After our initial assessment of your interior design project, we will present you with a free design proposal. This proposal will detail the interior design plan, scope of services, fee structure, estimated timeline, and overall projected costs.
Project Evaluation & Initial Proposal

Upon receiving your go-ahead, we delve into the project's desired look and feel, aligning closely with the interior design brief and overarching design vision. Once the aesthetic direction is confirmed, STUDIO VM, will generate concepts and create inspirational mood boards and visuals that capture the overall aesthetic for the space.
We also assess the functionality and flow of each area, considering the practical constraints of the built environment. This phase sets the trajectory for the interior design project and offers a visual guide to steer our efforts.

We develop detailed plans for each area, exploring layouts for bathrooms, kitchens, lighting, electrical systems, and furniture, showcasing how each space can be utilized. A collection of sample concept boards will guide the specification of materials needed for interior finishes.
Attention is given to details of flooring, walls, and joinery, taking into account any historical listings or the period of the property. Key focal points like fireplaces, screens, and artwork are carefully designed. Additionally, we consider how the interior spaces interact with outdoor areas, gardens, and the landscape, ensuring a cohesive design.

During this phase, we create detailed plans and elevations, including technical designs for lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, and custom textiles and furniture. If needed, we also provide specific drawings for doors, mouldings, and joinery packages tailored to each project and appropriate to the building's period.
We collaborate closely with our clients to ensure the design brief is consistently met. Our designers provide thorough pre-construction preparation, delivering a complete set of detailed plans and decorating schedules for the tender process. Leveraging our extensive experience in designing bespoke and unique pieces, we aim to craft stunning, personalised spaces.
Our dedicated sourcing team curates bespoke FF&E schemes tailored to each space, blending fabrics, furniture, and equipment to create distinctive interiors. Drawing from an extensive library of textiles and materials, we meticulously select window treatments, decorative lighting, and furnishings. We specialise in sourcing unique antiques, upholstery, accessories, and artwork, mindful of budget constraints, the building's historical context, and our clients' preferences.

Our FF&E selection includes a harmonious mix of bespoke pieces, carefully curated antiques, and contemporary designs. Each interior is enriched with art and collectibles sourced with precision from the UK and international markets. Our approach extends to sourcing and specifying ironmongery, fireplaces, and artwork, ensuring every detail enhances the overall design.
FF&E & Procurement
Completion, Installation & Handing Over
Coordinating a seamless installation process aligned with the construction schedule and specialist trades is crucial for achieving a harmonious outcome. We collaborate closely with subcontractors to install curtains, lighting fixtures, furniture, and artwork, while also supervising specialist decorators.
Once construction reaches its conclusion, we dress and style each space according to our planned interior design project, ensuring a smooth and efficient handover.
